Description of Services
Licensed Mental Health Counselor
Duties and Responsibilities
In the therapy relationship, we will work together to set goals to help you realize your dreams and make positive lifestyle changes that benefit your overall health and well-being. In addition, you will learn to understand your own motivations, thoughts and emotions. Therapists can aid in recovery from trauma and grief. Advice and counseling provided by a therapist may also lead to the repair of damaged relationships. Individuals with mental health disorders may learn how to live with and manage their symptoms with the assistance of a Therapist. Extensive knowledge of mental health conditions and best practices for psychological treatment.
Specific services include, but are not limited to:

Well-developed listening and interview skills to explore patient needs and administer treatment plans

Strong oral communication skills to counsel and advise patients

Analytical and problem-solving skills to develop effective treatment plans

Coaching skills to help patients make positive changes

Organization skills to maintain up-to-date

Easy-to-navigate patient files

Familiarity with privacy health and safety laws

Computer skills to operate record keeping, scheduling, email and word processing software
Professional Life Coach
Duties and Responsibilities
Professional Life Coaches help clients with a wide range of concerns and objectives, including career aspirations, relationship goals and personal fulfillment. A typical consultation start with pinpointing a specific objective and then move on to a discussion of the client’s strengths, weaknesses and skills pertaining to that objective. It’s then the Life Coach’s job to assist in developing a strategy to help the client get from point A to point B.
It’s important to note that Life Coaches don’t typically tell clients what to do. Instead, they empower clients to make their own plans and decisions by helping them develop the self-assurance, critical thinking, and emotional well-being necessary to achieve meaningful change.
Specific services include, but are not limited to:

Collaborating with the client to identify a goal and checkpoints

Offering new perspectives

Motivating clients and monitoring emotional health and overall progress

Holding clients accountable for inaction or failure to meet milestones

Working on communication skills, such as public speaking and active listening
