Guiding Principles
Life hands us an invisible script of absolutes and high expectations.
The pull of others’ expectations and what society says we “could do, should do, and must do” is real. But it doesn’t have to impact your choices: you can choose who to listen to including yourself.
Rising to your highest potential.
The world around us says you should reach your highest potential and make a lasting impact. Impact doesn’t have to happen on a world-sized stage, it’s exponential. Small, positive changes with your friends, your family, or even just yourself create a huge ripple effect. Growth and progress on a smaller scale can help you gradually bloom into your highest potential.
Change takes courage.
It’s normal and human to feel inertia in your current situation. Our brain has evolved to keep us safe, which often means staying the same. Change is, by definition, uncomfortable and scary; even if it is better than your current situation. There is a level of the unknown in change. Routines and consistency as you know it must evolve from what you are used to. But the results are worth it.
It's not about “working hard or doing more.”
Working harder doesn’t work. Working harder isn’t working smarter. Working harder and doing more is a symptom of the larger problem. Instead, finding ways to working more efficiently, taping into available and unused resources can create an organic inspirational change into your thoughts, feelings, and behavior.
You are Enough. Practice, progress, growth, success.
You already have the answers or can find the answers. There’s nothing wrong. You are good enough. Practice is progress. Progress is growth. And growth is Success. Progress is taking advantage of optimizing your life for the best growth and success.
